The Eastern Sierra holds year round flyfishing opportunities

We fish the finest waters in the Eastern Sierra…12 months a year! There is no “Off Season” here. In fact, winter provides some of the most exciting fishing of the year. But if winter is not your thing, don’t worry, you can wait until it warms up.

No two waters are the same. The E.S. is home to many excellent fisheries like the: Upper, Middle and Lower Owens River, Crowley Lake, Pleasant Valley Reservoir, Hot Creek, several freestone streams, as well as the bass and carp waters south of Bishop.

Several species call this place home such as: rainbow, brown, cutthroat, brook and golden trout, large and smallmouth bass, golden carp, Sacramento perch, bluegill, red ear sunfish, channel and black bullhead catfish.

Our waters offer a wide variety of challenging opportunities.

Improve your fishing skill and gain confidence

The techniques we use to catch fish are as varied as the waters we fish. We utilize and teach a myriad of systems and tactics such as: micro dry fly, dry-dropper, soft hackles, indicator and tightline nymphing, fixed line flyfishing, stillwater midging, stalking and casting to carp, topwater bass, advanced streamer and bass jig presentations. No matter how you want to put them in the net, we’ll help find what works for you to make you a more efficient, confident angler… and make some memories in the process!
